BlackBerry gives in, to provide access to encrypted data

After a weeklong discussions on whether the company give in or move out. Finally, today RIM has put all the discussions to a positive end. The BlackBerry mobile phone maker Research In Motion (RIM) has agreed to provide security agencies partial access to its messenger services by September one and would complete the project by the end of the year.
For those of you who were using the enterprise version of the blackberry push mail and messenger services – I am sure this would be a sign of relief. And for those of you who didn’t know, this move wasn’t going to affect individual users who does services hosted on RIM’s network.
